We became friends managing neighboring farms in the Hudson Valley, sharing ideas about vegetables, agriculture, and the farms we envisioned running one day.

In 2021, recognizing the multitude of skills necessary to have a successful farm and a shared interest in relocating to the North Country, we began to lay the groundwork to start North Point Community Farm.

  • Marisa Lenetsky

    CO FOUNDER

    I grew up in Brooklyn, New York and fell in love with growing vegetables in 2014 while working on a student farm at McGill University. After working on half a dozen farms, from 2 acres to 2,000 acres in size, I’m very excited to be finally starting my own farm! When I’m not farming, you can find me hiking around the Northeast or traveling across the globe. My primary roles on the farm are tractor operator, administrator (I love excel!), and post-harvest manager.

    CO FOUNDER

    I am a 5th generation Plattsburgh local. I started my farming career in Maine in 2014, later moving to the Hudson Valley, NY where I have helped start 2 farms. I am a fanatic of green woodworking, snowboarding, drinking coffee, and spending time with my dogs and wife-to-be. On the farm my roles are; crew manager, handy-man, and mister positivity.

    Our first ever employee. A guy that does it all! He fixes and keeps our machines and tools in tip top shape. He’s also a great down hill skier and always has a smile on his face!

    Hailing from Michigan. Eli was our second ever employee. He has seen North Point in all states and forms and continues to stand behind the name! An avid pool player and has been known to travel to play in tournaments!

  • Rachael Gremminger

    A lover of all things music. Rachael started out as harvest help in the fall of 2022. She has stuck around and has become a key part in our pack house!

  • Clay Whiteheart

    A Kentucky boy that loves the Northeast. You may find Clay pouring beer at Ausable Brewing, working in the Mace Chasm butcher shop, or raising his own pigs in Keeseville. A multi-talented character to say the least!

    Part chef, part dairy farmer, and part vegetable farmer. A man of many interests, Connor splits his time between North Point and North Country Creamery!

    A poet turned tomato wizard and beyond. A lover of the natural world. We are so lucky to have Jeff on our farm!

    Driver

    Trevor is our regional delivery driver! He is a true road dog. He loves early starts to get the vegetables to their final homes!

    Our newest addition to the North Point family! Anne is a detail oriented person who loves growing flowers, working in the greenhouse, and sewing! She just so happens to be Mike’s fianceé as well!

    The farm greeter, rodent control and all around keeper of the peace. If you have ever stopped by the farm, Levi is typically the first farmer you meet!
